All eyes are on the two most popular and beautiful students, Katelyn and Dylan, as they are crowned Kin King Queen of the prom. During the spotlight dance, the emergency sprinkler system soaks the entire student body...that is all but 8 of them.
Why are these 8 people out of the ballroom when the sprinklers went off? Who had the motive and the opportunity to sabotage the evening? Everyone has a secret to hide. It's up to you to question the suspects and determine who caused the "Panic at the Prom". |

| Principal Josephine Kuehl-Trevino | You are a 36 year-old principal of Centerville High School. Born and raised locally, you attended CHS as a teen. However, you moved away your senior year. You and your husband relocated to Centerville this year so that you could take this job and care for your aging parents.
Costume Suggestion: Hair done up with baby's breath flowers and a thrift shop-style, formal gown as if you were a teenager attending the prom 18 years ago, rather than the adult chaperon. |
| Buddy Hamm | You are the 19 year-old star quarterback of the Varsity Football team. Centerville High School was always known for loser sports and strong academics, that is, until you came along! With a state championship under your belt, an athletic scholarship to MSU, and your trophy date, Britnee, on your arm, the rest of the year is just one party after another. You have the reputation for always being the life of the party with your crazy antics and practical jokes.
Costume Suggestion: A 70's tuxedo with a ruffled shirt, or a t-shirt with a picture of a tuxedo on it. Bonus points for a letter jacket, football helmet, and a flower that sprays water! |
| Britnee Popper | Your family moved to Centerville two years ago. Although you had worried about making new friends in a new school, Katelyn befriended you immediately. Suddenly, you were doing everything together, including going out for the cheer leading squad, competing in the Miss Centerville Teen Princess Pageant, taking modeling classes, and even double dating. You are happy, energetic and always smiling.
Costume Suggestion: A stylish full-length formal gown or a little black dress that'll WOW the whole student body! Bonus points for pom-poms! |
| Chad Mensa | As Class Valedictorian, you are easily the smartest kids in school. You are president of the Math Club, a National Debate champion, and leader of the model United Nations, but you are by no means popular. This doesn't bother you, since you are mostly concerned with which college scholarship to accept and landing a summer congressional internship kick off your future as a political science major. You have brought Missy to the Prom tonight, but this is not a date. You are just good friends.
Costume Suggestion: Black suit with a clip on tie, white shirt with short sleeves, pocket protector, thick glasses and brief case. |
| Missy Whimpee | You are a super intelligent girl who is very sensitive. It seems you're always crying about something. And, although you are always nice to Katelyn and her friends, they tease you relentlessly. You want to be popular, more than anything else. You can't understand why they are so mean to you.

| Terry Payne | You are a very angry young person. Every word from your mouth is sarcastic and bitter. You detest the popular cliques in school and call them "phonies" and "clones" to their faces. You transferred to Centerville High School this year and have won very few friends with your belligerent attitude. You want to go to film school and become a director. Typically, you are hiding behind your video, camera, documenting your misery.
Costume Suggestion: All black (Goth) clothing, tons of black eyeliner and baby powder on your face for that pale as a corpse look! Also, it is important to the story line that you carry a video camera as a prop. |
| Butch Hickman | You are a 19 year-old senior struggling to graduate and put high school behind you. You ridicule everyone you meet: the teachers, the students, the jocks, the geeks and especially the popular clique. Any one who smarts off to you will regret it. You had no desire at all to go to the Prom, but your sister, Tatia, insisted that you take her.
Costume Suggestion: Dirty, ripped jeans, a white t-shirt and biker jacket. Bonus points for grease under fingernails! |
| Tatia Hickman | You are a quiet girl from a very poor family. Katelyn and her friends ridicule you constantly for living in a two-bedroom apartment on the edge of town. Yet, you always rise above vicious attacks, proving that the rich girls can't buy class.
